These General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between:
KAR GO, SASU with a share capital of €6,000, registered with the Paris RCS under number 815 350 897, with registered office at 8 rue la Boétie, 75008 Paris, hereinafter referred to as "the Provider",
And any natural or legal person making a transport booking, hereinafter referred to as "the Client".
The Provider offers private passenger transport services with chauffeur (VTC) in Mercedes V-Class, primarily in the Île-de-France region.
Any booking implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
KAR GO offers the following services:
When booking, the Client selects one of the following trip types, which determines the applicable pricing:
The booked trip type governs the price and execution conditions. An hourly hire may not be used to perform a long-distance transfer or a one-way long-distance trip out of zone: such a trip is reclassified and charged as a long-distance transfer (see Articles 2.2 and 4.2).
Bookings can be made:
The booking is only final upon receipt of written confirmation (email or SMS) from KAR GO, stating the trip details (date, time, locations, rate).
The Client must provide:
The Mercedes V-Class can accommodate up to 7 passengers and 7 standard suitcases. For groups of 8 or more, a 9-seat van or a Mercedes Sprinter may be offered on request, subject to availability. Stated passenger and luggage capacities are estimates; the Provider may refuse passengers or luggage if space or safety requirements are not met.
The Client books a vehicle category (e.g. E-Class, V-Class, S-Class), not a specific model. Models, brands and photographs shown on the website are provided for illustration only and give no right to any particular model within the booked category.
Subject to availability, KAR GO may provide a free upgrade to a higher category at no extra cost. Conversely, the occasional use of an equivalent vehicle from another category gives no right to a discount as long as the booked service is delivered.
Rates are those displayed on kargo-paris.fr at the time of booking. They are expressed in euros including VAT and include:
Hourly hire is governed by the following rules:
Additional fees may apply for:
Event surcharge: during exceptional events causing high demand or degraded traffic conditions (concerts, trade shows, public holidays, sporting events at the Stade de France, summits, etc.), a price increase may apply. It is communicated to the Client before booking confirmation.
An invoice is sent by email upon Client request.
Free cancellation: up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
Late cancellation:
Modification: any modification request (date, time, address, trip type, duration, vehicle category) is treated as a new booking. The cancellation terms applicable to the original booking (above) remain due where relevant, and the new booking is subject to availability and to the rate in force at the time of modification.
In case of force majeure or exceptional circumstances (breakdown, accident, extreme weather), KAR GO commits to:
The chauffeur arrives at the agreed address and time. They contact the Client by phone a few minutes before arrival.
For airports: the chauffeur waits in the arrivals area with a sign bearing the Client's name.
For train stations: the chauffeur waits on the platform or at the agreed meeting point.
If the delay exceeds the applicable courtesy period, the Client must notify the chauffeur by phone; a €1/minute supplement applies for additional waiting.
A no-show is defined as: for a transfer to a standard address, the passenger's absence 30 minutes after the agreed time without notice; for an airport or station pickup, absence beyond the applicable courtesy period without notice. In case of no-show, the trip is charged at 100%.
The chauffeur takes the most suitable route based on traffic conditions. The Client may request a specific route, which will be followed where possible.
The Client agrees to:
It is prohibited:
Any serious breach may result in immediate termination of the trip, without refund.
KAR GO has:
The Client is responsible for their personal belongings. KAR GO cannot be held liable for loss, theft or damage to items left in the vehicle.
