Article 1 - Purpose and Scope
These General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between:
KAR GO, SASU with a share capital of €6,000, registered with the Paris RCS under number 815 350 897, with registered office at 8 rue la Boétie, 75008 Paris, hereinafter referred to as "the Provider",
And any natural or legal person making a transport booking, hereinafter referred to as "the Client".
The Provider offers private passenger transport services with chauffeur (VTC) in Mercedes V-Class, primarily in the Île-de-France region.
Any booking implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Article 2 - Services Offered
KAR GO offers the following services:
- Airport transfers: Paris CDG, Orly, Le Bourget
- Train station transfers: Gare du Nord, Gare de Lyon, Montparnasse, Saint-Lazare, Gare de l'Est
- Disneyland Paris transfers
- Hourly chauffeur hire (by the hour or day)
- Transport for private events (weddings, parties, seminars)
Article 3 - Booking
3.1 Booking Process
Bookings can be made:
- Via the online form at kargo-paris.fr
- By email at contact@kargo-paris.fr
- Via WhatsApp
3.2 Confirmation
The booking is only final upon receipt of written confirmation (email or SMS) from KAR GO, stating the trip details (date, time, locations, rate).
3.3 Required Information
The Client must provide:
- Name of the main passenger
- Mobile phone number (reachable on the day of the trip)
- Exact pickup and destination addresses
- Desired date and time
- Number of passengers and estimated luggage
- For airports: flight number and terminal
- For train stations: train number
3.4 Passengers and Luggage
The Mercedes V-Class can accommodate up to 7 passengers and 7 standard suitcases. For more, please contact us for a suitable solution.
Article 4 - Rates and Payment
4.1 Rates
Rates are those displayed on kargo-paris.fr at the time of booking. They are expressed in euros including VAT and include:
- The journey defined at booking
- Pickup and luggage assistance
- Airport/station parking fees
- Fresh water and refreshments on board
- Free WiFi
- Baby seats/boosters (on request)
4.2 Supplements
Additional fees may apply for:
- Waiting time beyond courtesy periods (see article 6): €1/minute
- Unplanned intermediate stops: upon quote
- Night trips (midnight - 6am): 20% supplement
- Exceptional vehicle cleaning due to damage: €100
4.3 Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Cash (for trips under €300)
- Bank transfer (for businesses, with invoice)
- Apple Pay / Google Pay
4.4 Invoicing
An invoice is sent by email upon Client request.
Article 5 - Cancellation and Modification
5.1 By the Client
Free cancellation: up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
Late cancellation:
- Between 24h and 6h before: 50% of the trip amount charged
- Less than 6h before or no-show: 100% of the amount charged
Modification: any modification (time, address) must be communicated as soon as possible. It is subject to availability and may result in a rate adjustment.
5.2 By the Provider
In case of force majeure or exceptional circumstances (breakdown, accident, extreme weather), KAR GO commits to:
- Inform the Client as soon as possible
- Propose an alternative solution (other vehicle, partner)
- Fully refund if no solution is possible
Article 6 - Service Execution
6.1 Pickup
The chauffeur arrives at the agreed address and time. They contact the Client by phone a few minutes before arrival.
For airports: the chauffeur waits in the arrivals area with a sign bearing the Client's name.
For train stations: the chauffeur waits on the platform or at the agreed meeting point.
6.2 Included Waiting Time (Courtesy Period)
- Airports: 45 minutes after the actual landing time (verified via flight tracking)
- Train stations: 15 minutes after the scheduled train arrival time
- Other addresses: 10 minutes after the agreed time
6.3 Client Delay
In case of delay exceeding the courtesy period:
- The Client must notify the chauffeur by phone
- A supplement of €1/minute additional waiting will be charged
- After 60 minutes without news, the trip is considered cancelled and charged at 100%
6.4 Route
The chauffeur takes the most suitable route based on traffic conditions. The Client may request a specific route, which will be followed where possible.
Article 7 - Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate information when booking
- Be reachable by phone on the day of the service
- Be present at the agreed time and place
- Respect the vehicle and chauffeur
It is prohibited:
- To smoke or vape in the vehicle
- To consume alcohol on board (unless agreed by the chauffeur)
- To transport animals without prior agreement
- To transport illegal or dangerous substances
- To behave violently, threateningly or inappropriately
Any serious breach may result in immediate termination of the trip, without refund.
Article 8 - Liability
8.1 Provider Liability
KAR GO has:
- Professional Civil Liability insurance
- Vehicles insured for paid passenger transport
- Professional chauffeurs holding a VTC license
8.2 Luggage and Personal Belongings
The Client is responsible for their personal belongings. KAR GO cannot be held liable for loss, theft or damage to items left in the vehicle.
In case of damage to luggage caused by the Provider (handling), liability is limited to €300 per trip, unless prior declaration of value.
8.3 Traffic-Related Delays
KAR GO makes every effort to respect schedules but cannot be held liable for delays due to traffic, weather conditions, roadworks or any event beyond its control.
Article 9 - Complaints
Any complaint must be sent by email to contact@kargo-paris.fr within 7 days following the service, specifying:
- The date of the trip
- The passenger's name
- The subject of the complaint
A response will be provided within 15 business days.
Article 10 - Data Protection
Personal data collected is processed in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy available on the website. For more information, see our Legal Notice.
Article 11 - Applicable Law and Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law.
In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before any legal action.
The consumer Client is informed that they may use a consumer mediator. The mediator's details will be provided upon request.
Failing amicable resolution, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Paris.
Article 12 - Miscellaneous Provisions
If any clause of these Terms & Conditions is declared null, the other clauses remain fully valid.
The fact that KAR GO does not enforce any breach of these Terms & Conditions by the Client shall not be construed as a waiver of the right to enforce such breach in the future.
