Where are we going?

Why Fashion Week Clients Book a Chauffeur

Room for the rails, not just the people
The V-Class Extra Long takes garment bags, wardrobe trunks and sample cases alongside up to seven passengers — the difference between a car and a working vehicle.

The car is already there
Your chauffeur is parked nearby before the show ends, not dispatched once the whole room reaches the pavement at the same moment.

A quiet cabin between appointments
Leather seating, tinted privacy glass, WiFi, chargers and chilled water — somewhere to take a call or rework the day between two addresses.

Why Book a Private Chauffeur for Fashion Week
Paris hosts six fashion weeks a year. Paris Fashion Week itself runs four times — Womenswear in March and again in late September and early October, Menswear in January and in June — and Haute Couture Week adds two more, in January and in July. Whichever season brings you here, what happens on the ground is the same.
Shows do not end on the minute. A house runs twenty minutes over, several hundred people step onto the same pavement at once, and every one of them needs a car in the same ten minutes — on streets where kerb space was already scarce. That is exactly when a ride-hailing app has nothing to offer. A chauffeur booked in advance is parked nearby and pulls up when you walk out.

Choosing Your Fashion Week Vehicle
The Mercedes S-Class is the car for an individual arrival: a saloon for up to three passengers, quiet and deliberately unremarkable at a busy drop-off point. The E-Class covers the same brief in a more compact format.
The V-Class Extra Long is the one that matters for production. It seats up to seven and takes garment bags, wardrobe trunks and sample cases alongside passengers — which is what earns it a place on a day spent moving a collection between showroom appointments rather than moving people between dinners. Teams often book both: an S-Class for the principal, a V-Class running the rails and the crew behind it.

Precision Timing Between Shows
The calendar tells you when a show starts. It does not tell you when it ends, that the one before it overran, or that an address moved on Tuesday for a Thursday appointment. Fashion week days are rebuilt continuously, and the transport has to be rebuilt with them.
Your chauffeur stays in contact through the day and reroutes as the schedule moves — a pickup pushed back half an hour, a stop added between two appointments, an address swapped for another across the river.
For a day built that way, hourly hire beats a string of separate journeys. The minimum is two hours: €70 an hour in the E-Class, €90 in the V-Class and €180 in the S-Class, with 40 km included per hour. The car stays with you between stops instead of being released back into the city.

The Venues Paris Comes Back To
The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode publishes the schedule — the houses, the dates, the times and the format — but not the addresses. Each house announces its own venue on the invitation, often only days beforehand, so nobody can tell you in advance where a given show will be staged.
What does hold is the shortlist. Season after season the same landmarks come back: the Cour Carrée of the Louvre, the Tuileries Garden, the Grand Palais, the Palais de Tokyo, the Trocadéro, the Bourse de Commerce, and a long tail of private hôtels particuliers in the Marais and Saint-Germain. Avenue Montaigne, avenue George V and the Champs-Élysées — the Golden Triangle — are where the flagships, the showroom appointments and the hotels are, not where shows are staged. Expect to cross the city several times a day between the two.
Central Paris is also a limited traffic zone: since November 2024 the 1st to 4th arrondissements have been closed to through traffic, though vehicles serving a destination inside may still enter. That covers the Louvre, the Tuileries and the Bourse de Commerce — our drivers work with it daily.

Airport, Le Bourget and Eurostar Arrivals
Most international guests land at Charles de Gaulle or Orly. CDG is a fixed €100 in the E-Class and €130 in the V-Class, at any hour of the day or night. Orly is €75 and €95, with a 20% supplement between 23:00 and 06:00. Flights are tracked, so a delay moves your pickup rather than costing you the car.
Private jets route through Paris–Le Bourget, the city's business aviation airport: no scheduled commercial flights, around thirty minutes from the centre by road. Arriving from London by Eurostar, we meet you at Gare du Nord.
Fixed prices for every airport, vehicle class and passenger count are set out on our airport transfer pages.

Discretion for VIP Guests and Brand Delegations
Discretion here is a set of habits rather than a package: itineraries are not shared outside the assignment, chauffeurs are briefed before it starts, and the car drops you as close to the entrance as the street and the stewards allow. We do not run security details and we do not manage press — what we control is the vehicle, the route and the timing.
One thing worth saying plainly: runway shows are invitation-only, issued by the houses to press and buyers. KAR GO is a transport company. We drive you to the door; we do not provide access, invitations or accreditation. The FHCM's SPHERE showroom for emerging designers is the part of the week that opens to the public.
For brand delegations, several vehicles run under a single point of contact, with pickups synchronised across the group.

From Runway to After-Party
Dinners run long and after-parties run longer, and the end of the evening is where pre-booked transport earns its keep. Keeping the car on hourly hire through the night means the same chauffeur and the same vehicle are waiting whenever the room finally empties — in a city where finding a car at two in the morning is not a given.
Every journey is a fixed price confirmed at booking, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. WiFi, bottled water and child seats are included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Arrivals, delegations, garment transport and booking — what production teams and guests ask us before a fashion week.
Most international guests land at Charles de Gaulle or Orly. Private jets route through Paris–Le Bourget, the city's business aviation airport, and many industry travellers arrive from London by Eurostar into Gare du Nord. KAR GO covers all four, with flight and train tracking included, so a delay moves your pickup instead of costing you the car.
Yes. For larger teams we run several vehicles under a single point of contact, with pickup times synchronised across the group and one shared itinerary. Send us your team size and the days you need covered, and we will quote the whole schedule rather than trip by trip.
Your chauffeur stays in contact through the day and adjusts pickup timing and routing as your schedule moves. A show that overruns, an address that changes the day before, a stop added between two appointments — none of it needs rebooking or re-explaining.
Yes. The Mercedes V-Class Extra Long is built for it: the load space takes hanging garments, wardrobe trunks and hard cases without giving up passenger seats, and the sliding door makes kerbside loading quick. Tell us roughly what you are carrying and how many of you are travelling, and we will confirm the vehicle before you book.
Availability tightens across the city during the fashion weeks, so send us your dates as early as you have them — even provisional ones. We confirm the vehicle, the chauffeur and the price at booking, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup: reserving early costs you nothing if plans change.
